Love this place, been going there since they opened and now that I'm retired I go 5 or 6 times a week. Someone mentioned they haven't been back since 2009 because of the table next to them were using fowl language. I had a similar experience when I was with my grandson, told the waiter that if they didn't want to confront them I would and it was handled immediately. I've had everything on the menu and haven't found one I don't like.

i have been going to this restaurant ever since they first opened their doors. the food is great and the people are friendly. they go out of their way to make sure everyone enjoys their meals and their time at el patron.. my children love going up there. if u can handle spicy food; i recommend trying the pollo a la diabla. and wash it down with a delicious strawberry margarita.

Every time my husband and I go here to eat it is always great food. Our food is always served hot and delicious. I like this restaurant because it is quick service and the price is reasonable. The cheese dip is extra good!

despite others complaints about loud mouthed customers i prefer to review the actual restaurant which is fantastico!! the chicken fundido is esp delightful and the huevos rancheros makes my oldest beg me to take her weekly. the train depot just adds to the charm and quaint atmosphere making every vist wonderful, in no small part due to the friendly, attentive staff.

I lived in Bartlett for eight years and moved back to New Orleans a few years ago.
This place is a must stop every time we visit Bartlett. The food and service is fantastic.
My favorite dish is the LOCO Polo which has cheese, chicken, bacon,& mushrooms.
Planning a visit in February 2010. Can't wait!

We have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere at El Patron until our visit on 6/15/09. We tried to enjoy a nice dinner with our children on the patio, but a crowd next to us were using VERY fowl and inappropriate language. Repeatedly, the group also used a very derogatory word towards a certain race of people (that I teach my children NEVER to use). My nine year old son asked me why they were saying the word I told him to never use. I had to send my children inside to protect them from the language being used. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, the staff informed me they would notify the management. I also made the staff very aware of what words were being used and that children were present. The staff of the restaurant did not address the issue in any way and let the crowd continue with their offensive behavior. I am a long-time resident of Bartlett and our family has been loyal customers of El Patron, but after the experience we had yesterday and the lack of responsiveness from the management, we will no longer give them our business. I will strongly suggest to all of my friends and associates to not give El Patron in Bartlett their business due to the business' tolerance of such offensive behavior.
