On Saturday, May 28, I ordered a McAlister's Club, potato salad and a strawberry tea over the telephone. I asked them to make sure they did not forget the pickle this time. My husband picked it up at approximately 8:40 and brought it home. Upon opening it, the club sandwich was not made correctly, it had no turkey on it and no meat on the back of the sandwich. I was prepared to just eat the sandwich but when I got ready to drink the tea, To my dismay, it was strawberry lemonade. I gathered up the sandwich and the lemonade proceeded back to McAlister's in the rain. When I arrived it was 9:10 and the door was locked. The individual told me that they were not allowed to open the door. So I am stuck with a lemonade that I am allergic to. The person told me to come back the next day. I was unable to do so because I was out of town. I called today and was told to bring a receipt. My husband did not bring a receipt because he thought the order was correct and he didn't check to see if it was correct. I believe that when you pay for something, you should get what you paid for. I understand that the door should remain locked, but all I want is to get what I paid for. This should not be that difficult.
