- Named after winemaker's son, this blend has concentrated nose powerfully reminiscent of Syrah and the Northern Rhone, with notes of black pepper, black fig, dark chocolate, teriyaki, black olive and dry plum. On the palate, meaty and juicy with flavors of marinade, raspberry, toasted oak and white pepper. The mouth feel is long with supple tannins of black fruit and spice. Delicious now but with the concentration and extract to age for up to a decade.
