Gebruder Simon 'brut' Riesling Sekt, Mosel, Germany 2021 $53.00
This limited production sparkling wine is made from Riesling grapes and comes from the dizzyingly steep Ürziger Würzgarten and the neighboring Erdener Treppchen vineyards. The Simon Sekt Brut is produced according to the traditional method of bottle fermentation and while most sparkling wines are made using sugar extract for the dosage, Ingo Simon uses high quality Riesling Auslese. This unique Sekt has all the finesse, elegance and pedigree of Champagne combined with the perfumed expression of characterful Riesling. It’s exotic with aromas of white peach, apricot, citrus, ginger and layered with honeyed, flowery notes. Bright acidity and a creamy mousse provide a refreshing finish.

Henriot 'brut Souvrerain' Champagne, Fr Nv $104.00
The Brut Souverain is the most historical cuvée in the region, as it was the first cuvée Apolline Henriot produced in 1808. Apolline aspired to put the light on her vineyards through the expression of a champagne. According to her, one year was not enough to tell the story of the terroirs, so she decided to put wines in reserve each year to incorporate them into a future blend. Therefore, she founded the House by creating a Champagne that would have blending as its fundamental principle. The House respects this philosophy today and uses every terroir in this multi-cru, multi-vintage cuvée. It was named Brut Souverain by Ernest Henriot, Apolline's grandson, when the House was appointed the official champagne supplier to the Courts of the King of Holland and of the Emperor of Austria-Hungary.Blend: 50% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Meunier

The palate is rounded, with fruit up front and through the mid-palate, and it has a silky and fresh lift. There is a wonderful ease and drinkability to this wine, which delivers balance and finesse. Best after 2022. 40% chardonnay, 30% pinot noir and 30% Pinot Meunier.

Phelps Creek, Gewurztraminer, Columbia Gorge, Wa 2021 $44.00
A beautiful, balanced vintage, although the season began with a wild heat spike in June. Gorge Crest gently slopes south on the north side of the Columbia River, only 4 miles from our estate. Our team farms the site. We utilize an Alsatian inspired technique of extending skin contact with the clusters prior to pressing in order to build texture The cool climate cultivation results in beautiful acid balance with perfumed floral notes. Sandy and volcanic soils add spice and mineral elements.

Freshness and varietal florality was preserved and brought to the forefront on this wine. Whole clustered pressed and allowed to cold settle over a period of two days. Indigenous yeast were allowed to set in and do their thing beginning a slow but steady fermentation.100% stainless steel was used to let this wine rest for 8 months before being bottled. Lemon zest, jasmine and honeysuckle draw you in to this Riesling. Finishing with grapefruit and apricot.

The 2021 vintage displays a rich, fragrant nose with aromas of spiced pear, star jasmine, vanilla bean and tropical rain forest. Trailing scents of pineapple, mango, crushed filberts and buttered toast are accented by hints of allspice and honeysuckle. A crisp, silky palate expands with mouthwatering flavors of white peach, pineapple, honeydew melon and lemon zest. Underlying tropical notes of papaya, kiwi and passion fruit are laced with toasty oak and baking spices, and a lush, clean finish reveals lingering impressions of citrus, almond and vanilla.

Far Niente Chardonnay is a blend of superlative Napa Valley vineyards located in Coombsville, a cool growing region nestled in the rolling countryside and protected by the hills east of the city of Napa. Coombsville offers the characteristic climate of Carneros, with less wind, along with deeper, well-drained gravelly loam and volcanic ash soils. The combination of these spectacular vineyards results in the subtle, tropical flavors, complex aromas, and uncommon richness that have long been associated with Far Niente Chardonnay.

he 2022 OLG Pinot Noir pours a dark persimmon core with a lucid rose hip rim. Laden with elegant aromatics, notes of bright raspberry, bing cherry and Pinot funk develop into darker tones of black cherry, mocha and mahogany. On the palate, the entry is scrumptiously soft with cranberry crunch, ripe strawberry, redcurrant and a touch of maritozzo. Typical of the Sta. Rita Hills, the finish is lined with minerality and some saline hints with closing touches of fennel and anise.

95 PTS Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - 'Made from 100% Malbec, the 2018 Malbec Mt. Veeder was aged for 22 months in oak, 34% new. Deep garnet-purple colored, the nose is flamboyantly scented of baked plums, blackberry compote and blueberry coulis with wafts of baking spices and dried Provence herbs. Full-bodied, the palate is packed with concentrated black and blue fruits, supported by firm, grainy tannins, going long, lively and with a spicy kick on the finish.'

Triple Junction unites the distinct characters of each region with a thread of volcanic minerality, freshness and structure that runs through the wines from all three sources. Cabernet Sauvignon from the winery's own Estate Vineyard in California forms the structure and core of the blend. Syrah and Malbec from Washington’s Red Mountain AVA fill the blend with dense, rich, round fruit flavors while Tempranillo from Echo West Ranch in Oregon weaves in spice and savory character. Together, they form a cohesive story of high, dry slopes, and the intensity, structure and acidity born from vines grown on the side of a volcano.

Orin Swift '8 Years In The Desert' Zinfandel Blend, Ca 2022 $89.00
At first glance, the 2022 Eight Years in the Desert looks to be almost black, but after closer inspection, a dark crimson starts to shine through with a tinge of purple on the rim. The nose is rife with notes of ripe blueberry, black plum, wild raspberry, espresso bean, sweet oak and a hint of crème de menthe and cedar. The entry is akin to walking through a tunnel of velvet walls with blackberry jam, reduced strawberry and a touch of rhubarb. Bright acidity throughout the palate, the wine closes with round, ripe tannins, fresh pluot and dark chocolate.

The signature varietal that launched the Barra brand in 1997, this petite sirah features certified organic grapes that were hand picked from our 27 acre hillside vineyard, Bella Collina, located high above the Ukiah valley (1100 feet elevation) in Mendocino County. Following the advice of Karl Wente and Louis Martini in the early 60’s, Charlie Barra began planting the petite sirah varietal, and we continue to bottle limited quantities of this luscious, hearty wine.Floral hints of lavender paired with hearty blackberry, earth, and tobacco on the nose. Complex, elegant and full-bodied on the palate, this wine delivers flavors of black plum, anise, and pomegranate with subtle hints of toasted caramel, raw cocoa, red beet, and wet stone. Hailing from halfway between the northern and southern Rhône, this Côtes du Vivarais features equal parts of both regions’ starring grapes—Syrah and Grenache—and offers the closest thing to what you might get if you blended Crozes-Hermitage with Gigondas. With its gorgeous and lifted aromas of black pepper, briny black olive, and violets, the nose is all northern Rhône. When you take a sip, though, the freshness and elegance of Syrah are intermingled with the earthiness, herbs, and concentration of southern Rhône Grenache.

Rich and satisfying with chocolate brownie, yogurt, molasses, brown sugar and rhubarb notes presented in perfect balance with higher-toned fruit emphasis.For Quilt Napa Valley, we focus on vineyards with well-draining, low-nutritive soils that stress the vines. The result of these soils is a grape crop with extraordinary concentration of flavor, color, and texture. While the majority of the fruit (70%) comes from the floor of the Napa Valley to achieve the richness and elegance desired, we also relied on some grapes grown at elevation on Napa Valley benchlands and hillsides for a final blend with more structure and complexity than we could have achieved had we used fruit grown solely on the Valley floor.

Very dark red color. Abundant aromas of boysenberry, blackberry, anise, roasted cherries, oak spice, and cocoa. Upon taste, these characteristics intensify on the palate. While tannin is abundant, with some aeration, the mouthfeel is full and smooth. The bright acidity provides freshness to this classic Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2021 DAOU Discovery Cabernet Sauvignon presents a deep ruby-purple color, foreshadowing intense aromas of cherry and blackberry jam complemented by dark chocolate, tobacco leaf, and desert sage. The nose also reveals secondary nuances of wet gravel, sandalwood, and plum pudding with subtle notes of fennel, black olive and eucalyptus. On the palate, a swirl of black raspberry, pomegranate, cherry preserve, and Zante currant melds seamlessly with crushed herbs, fig and cranberry.
