- Champagne - Herve Rafflin La Nature'l 1er Cru Extra Brut Nv $139.00
- This vivacious and insanely refreshing wine is characterized by notes of citrus, white flowers and baked bread. The juice’s bright, salivating acidity leads to a long-lasting finish. ‘La Nature’L’ is the leading cuvée at Rafflin and is the most widely produced/sold bottling at the estate.
- Cremant De Loire - Domane Vincendeau "zeitlos" Aop Extra Brut 2018 $99.00
- Blend of 95 % Chenin blanc and 5 % Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a selection of 100 % ‘cuvée' (heart of the press) juices aged during 3,5 years ‘sur lattes'. With the choice of the finest & most ‘neutral' juices we aim an elegant & structured sparkling.
- Lambrusco Dell'emilia - Sebastian Van De Sype "ancestrale" $89.00
- Sebastien Van de Sype Ancestrale Lambrusco is Sebastien’s red sparkling wine made wholly in the bottle. Compare this to his other Lambrusco. The production philosophy is entirely based on the “ancestral method” and on the “traditional method”, with the fermentation process finalized in the bottle. The goal is to provide a quality natural product, expressing the grape variety to its full potential and avoiding “industrial” or “corrective” techniques.
- White
- Riesling - Barbichette "seneca Lake Le Blanc" $67.00
- Dry, crisp riesling tastes of sliced green apple, white peach, fresh squeezed key lime juice with hints of lemon verbena and a touch of salt. Classic riesling acidity and a stony minerality complements bright notes of stonefruit, it shows a whole breadth and depth of flavors that riesling has the capability of delivering. Le Blanc has a roundness in the wine that rarely finds its way into a riesling structure.
- Trebbiano - Ampeleia "bianco" $67.00
- The wine spends 7-10 days on the skins -- not enough time to extract real tannins -- making this the perfect starter orange wine. Balanced and bright on the palate, you get pretty seasonal notes of orange peel, golden apple and pear, gingerbread and nuts.
- Chardonnay - Fond Cypres "cypres De Toi Blanc" $51.00
- Bring and fleshy white orchard fruits (think Asian Pear) on the nose and palate with a hint of Mediterranean herbs. Enjoy supporting acidity and some weight; superb and refreshing, with an easy drinking complexity.
- Red
- Valdigue - Woods Wine Co "green Valley" $87.00
- From Green Valley Vineyard in Solano County, just below the South-Eastern part of Napa. Juicy blueberry, boysenberry, and dark cherry wrapped in a flaky pie crust. This medium-bodied red with zippy acidity has medium-light tannins and a dry finish.
- Plavina - Vinas Mora "barbba" $71.00
- Expect lots of juicy Marasca cherry with hints of chocolate and earthiness from this lovingly made wine with minimal intervention. A portion of the grapes are given a quick 6 hour maceration, and the rest are macerated for 3 days. Fermented and aged in old oak. Unfined/Unfiltered with a touch of SO2 at bottling.
- Carbonic Sangiovese - Southold Farm "forgotten Dreams" $71.00
- If you ever have traveled to Sicily or Montepulciano you may have come across a style of wine called Cerasuolo. Cerasuolo is a relative of Rosato (or rosé), but we find them to have more depth and interest than typical Rosato. Think of this wine as a very special place between red wine and rosé. This wine has surprised us, it is insanely drinkable, like gulping punch on a hot day on your old school yard, yet to do that means you would miss all the depth and complexity. So, choose wisely... or don't.
- Blaufrankisch + Zweigelt - Judith Beck "out" $67.00
- OUT is a delicious, bright, poised and juicy - strawberry, plum and raspberry scented red wine, ending with spicy and savoury notes. Medium-bodied, super moreish, perfect to drink on its own or with charcuteries, white meat, poultry dishes or will accompany an array of vegetarian dishes. A blend of 60% Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt from Judith biodynamically farmed vineyards. The vines average 15 years of age and are planted on loam, clay, limestone soils. Spontaneaous fermentation in a mix of steel and open wooden vats and aged in used large acacia barrels.
