- Thanks to over 50 years of experience, La Casa del Grano is considered the leader in the production of traditional types of Sardinian pasta. Sa fregula Sarda, (Fregola Sarda) a typical Sardinian product, is made by adding water to bran contained in a basket, and moving the hand in a circular motion. Following this process, little quantities of pasta with a spherical shape are obtained; they are sifted and selected in small, medium and large size and finally toasted in the oven where they assume their typical burnish coloring. Ideal for soups, with a marinade sauce, as a side dish, but it's also perfect as a complete meal.

- Their pasta is produced from durum wheat cultivated directly by the company. Semolina and water are the only ingredients. They use circular bronze die plates and we dry pasta at temperatures lower than 44°C, taking about 20 hours for short pasta and about 40 hours for long pasta.Rigatoni have a diameter of 19,2 mm and a length of 45 mm. - Made from slow-cooked grape must of Lambrusco and Trebiano grapes, Saba is made using the same method used for producing balsamic vinegar, only the process stops once the must is reduced by 1/3. This caramelized the sugars and concentrates de flavors, and it is then bottled immediately afterwards. Saba vinegar is from the family owned and run Acetaia San Giacomo of Reggio Emilia.
