- Parmesan Crusted Eggplant With Chicken Pasta
- A customer (Malcolm) moved to California 10 years ago but recently sent an email asking for this recipe! He’s a great guy that loves great pasta! This is linguine in a French-style tomato sauce that has a touch of seafood stock and a splash of good sherry in it. Combined with parmesan crusted eggplant, chicken and sautéed mushrooms, it’s delicious. Does Delta fly non-stop?!
- Cajun Shrimp Pasta
- Linguine in a Cajun cream sauce with tri-colored peppers, spinach and shrimp sautéed in Cajun spices. The staff always asks: “When is this pasta coming back on the main menu? It’s too good to just feature for only 2 weeks”.
- Chorizo Sausage & Jalapeno Pizza
- Listen up people: Don’t be such scaredy cats! We de-seed the jalapenos so you get the flavor without a 2 alarm fire in your mouth. The crumbled chorizo sausage is utterly fantastic paired with tomato sauce, yellow corn and diced peppers. Be brave. Thank me later.
- Chicken Gorgonzola Pasta
- My sister-in-law Debbie is always doing nice things for other people, so I wanted to do something nice for her. Then it struck me that she LOVES this pasta. It’s linguine in a gorgonzola cream sauce with chicken sautéed in sherry and olive oil, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, spinach, roasted red peppers & scallions. If you see her, tell her that she has a surprise waiting for her at Figlio!

- Linguine in a light smokey jalapeno cream sauce tossed with chicken sautéed in tequila and lime with tri-colored peppers and flame-roasted jalapenos. I keep a list of people who ask me to call them when this dish goes on special at Figlio. That list keeps growing.

- Wood roasted garlic hot from our oven on a pizza with blackened chicken, fresh spinach, roma tomatoes, red onions, parmesan, fontina and Vermont cheddar.
- Kung Pao Shrimp Pizza
- There’s a woman from Bexley named Julie who said this was her favorite pizza at Figlio. I get it! It’s shrimp sautéed in a soy/ginger sauce with snow peas, red and yellow peppers, peanuts and fontina cheese. But we don’t have her email address! So if you know “Julie in Bexley” please let her know we are serving her pizza!
- Winter Harvest Pizza
- The chorizo sausage for this pizza is made by a third generation, family-owned sausage making shop in Cleveland. That, alone, makes me like this pizza. But when you combine this incredibly fresh, natural, preservative free sausage with spicy tomato sauce, yellow corn and jalapeno peppers, you’ll see why this is now my favorite pizza.
