Tender whole leaves from Fujian, China, comprising of buds and first leaf hand-rolled into balls. The Jasmine fragrance comes from Jasmine flower petals. The tea leaves will unfurl from the round shape and disperse upon steeping. Divinely fragrant aroma in the dry leaves (balls) as well as in the cup. Two infusions possible. Produces a light and clear yellow liquor.Use 1 - 2 teaspoons for 6 – 8 oz water. The fragrance is heavenly. First infusion - Steep for 4 minutes; second infusion - Steep for 4 minutes, but just a little hotter water. We use this more expensive tea as a treat, when accomplishing something wonderful, or failed miserably while attempting something new. Whatever the occasion, it brings us back to center.

Dragonwell Lung Ching Green Tea (caffeine) $14.00
Dragonwell loose leaf green tea - Longjing is called by its translation, Dragonwell tea. Dragonwell is pan-fired roasted green tea variety from the Longjing Village in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province of China. One of China's most beloved teas, this pan-roasted green tea is produced mostly by hand and renowned for its high quality has a delicious aroma, a mellow floral flavor, and slightly sweet aftertaste. Longjing tea leaves are roasted immediately after picking to stop the natural oxidation process implemented in producing black oolong teas. Pan firing the leaves stops the oxidation process. Dragon Well produces a yellow-green color when steeped. Green teas are sensitive to temperature and steeping time. If not made correctly, the tea will turn astringent and bitter. Directions: Use 3 grams (a heaping teaspoon) of tea in ten (10) ounces of water. Steep for 3 minutes at 160 degrees Farenheit. A second infusion is possible, though lighter.
