Growing up I tended to the rhubarb plants in my backyard rhubarb is normally considered a vegetable {it’s a member of the buckwheat family } but a New York court ruling in 1947 made it an official fruit in the United States! For those of you who don’t know, the leaves of rhubarb are poisonous, so beware of feeding them to chickens, humans, etc. ! Otherwise, the stem is nature’s candy

• Philly Cheese Steak Pie $15.00
• This special pie is made with thin sliced beef marinated in our special sauce, peppers, onion, provolone, cheese from Jersey girl cheese in-between our all butter top and bottom crust.

• Pulled Pork $15.00
• A layer of thin-sliced potatoes line the bottom. The pork is slow-roasted for 12 hours, shredded and mixed with our own homemade barbecue sauce. Topped with slices of Swiss cheese and latticed with nitrate free bacon.

• Meatball Pie $15.00
• One snowy Sunday Tom and I were in the bakery and no one was coming in because the snow was quickly piling up outside. A slow time like this has always been a time for thought and inspiration for creating a new pie. I kept thinking about how delicious some spaghetti and meatballs would be for dinner. It suddenly dawned on me that it would be scrumptious in a pie. Tom got to work on his “famous” meatballs, I started the tomato sauce. This is what we came up with. Nine savory meatballs line the bottom of our all- butter crust. Next, we ladle tomato sauce over the meatballs and layer fresh Jersey Girl mozzarella over the top and cover it with a top crust. That night we brought it home, took one bite and knew a new pie was born!

• 9" - Cubano Pie $29.00
• Over the years that I visited family in Miami Beach and Hollywood, Florida one of the foods I looked forward to on every visit were Cubano Sandwiches. I still think about them often and I realized that I could make something maybe just as tasty in a pie. After a lot of experimenting, the mojo marinade and sauce was created. For me that was key. We marinate pork shoulders for 24 hours and then slow roast for 12 hours. This pie consists of layers of sliced pork from Quaker creek, swiss cheese, thinly sliced pickles, drizzled with mustard and mojo sauce between our all butter top and bottom crust. This is perhaps my favorite savory pie. I hope you will enjoy it.
