I never had a bad experience at skips for over 40 years. The food has always been top quality and value for as long as I can remember.

There were 2 minor things that occurred during our visit that made me give it an okay rating. One thing that happened was we had to wait about 4 minutes before the hostess came to seat us. To be fair we were told twice she was coming but the wait still occurred. Wasn't that busy so I don't know what kept her. The other was the waitress charged us extra for blue cheese dressing without letting us know ahead of time. The food was excellent

We have eaten at Skips Other Place several times and it gets better every time. Best prime rib and seafood in the area. Always leave satisfied.

My husband and I ate at your restaurant on New Years day. The food was okay, but as I was looking around I noticed how dirty the walls were and the fan blades were covered in dust. The wall behind me had dust and cobwebs all over it and there were cobwebs in the corners. The ceiling fans were very dirty and if they had been turned on there would have been dirt flying everywhere. I guess we were surprised even though it has been quite a while since we had been there. So maybe whoever takes care of housekeeping needs to take a look around . Also , the fellow who was serving the buffet was also having a cocktail in between customers which was unprofessional. I doubt we will come back; it was a comedown from years past. Virginia Scheuer

I have had the pleasure of Dining here at Skips Other Place (New Buffalo, MI.) many times over the years...I've traveled all around this country and have never tasted Prime Rib better than Brett serves here at Skips Other Place...If you like Prime Rib you are in for One Special Treat...I just wish I did not live so far away from this place..Keep up the Good Work Brett
