06/10/2025 - Simone K.
The wait can be long, but the first sip of tea and bite of food make it clear that every moment and penny are well spent-this place truly brings a slice of London charm right here in the Midwest. From the outstanding variety of loose teas served in donated cups to the delicious homemade sandwiches, soups, and pastries (don't miss the salted caramel cake or the coleslaw), it's a cozy, welcoming spot where locals gather for a relaxing meal and a taste of something special.

The wait was long, but the first bite and sip validated the patience I had exercised. The experience was worth both the time and the money spent. Visiting in March 2023 on a snowy day, I found that despite my initial skepticism due to the wait, the place exuded a small piece of London charm in the heart of the Midwest.
