The North Side is a fantastic dining spot with generous portions and delicious food offerings. While the service may be a bit slow at times, the quality of the meals definitely makes up for it. Be prepared to bring home leftovers as the serving sizes are quite substantial, offering great value for the price.

Only voted one star because I had to, I have never had more horrible service or food. Between the front of house staff and their rudeness and ignorance(which I believe was switched to all family at this point) to the kitchen and their horrible food, was told food got prepared by a man named Ron or Jon or something. It was cold and soggy, fish smelled like it had been out for weeks. I strongly recommend you PROTECT YOURSELF AND FAMILY from this horrible, overpriced establishment. Never been more disappointed in my life.

They say this eatery is permanently closed! If that is true it is a shame as the food was great and portions huge and cost low! The staff were top notch and friendly! This is a downright shame!

Some of the best chow I've had anywhere in Northern Michigan and way more than you can eat in one sitting.I love this place!

I think that this Restaurant is WAY better than the the Merry Inn :(!! I give props to the cook(s)!!! thank you for an outstanding 8 years!!!
