During our annual visits to Hoxeyville, a must-stop is Kestelwoods for essential canoeing gear, a variety of beverages, and delicious snacks. Their handmade ice cream cookie sandwiches by the checkout counter are a special treat worth the splurge, especially since there are limited options nearby. Although I've yet to sample the breakfast menu after 15 years of visits, I've heard their blueberry pancakes are the best around - something to look forward to next year! The campground is well-maintained, and the store always comes to the rescue with items I forgot to pack for my trip.
