Went in on Friday, and the service was horrible! The two girls that are running this joint look like they need showers and some motivation! Food was not good and the red headed girl looked like it was an inconvenience to get off her butt and wait on us. Tip to the owners, hire new staff! We had a great experience during the 4th of July when you had lines out the door. Where is the staff that was there then? Bring them back and get rid of the lazy girls you have now!

I grew up in Boyne City and was home visiting my parents. We stopped at Thick and Juicy on the way out on Sunday to order 3 Big Bopper burgers, 3 chilly cheese fries, and 1 coke. When the food came we were short one order of fries and the pop, well we weren’t going to wait 10 more minutes so we got the pop and figured we’d just share the fries. We got to Boyne Falls when my daughter opened the food to see that one order of fries was plain and the other was just chili. Ok not too bad at this point right? The Big Bopper is a double patty fully loaded burger just right for a 4 hour ride, half now, half later. We opened the burgers and they were all 2 patty’s and a bun, absolutely nothing else. These burgers were so nasty and dry we didn’t even eat them. I wouldn’t be too mad but the entire thing cost me 30$. I don’t have a problem paying 30$ for good burgers but this was a total disappointment, I’ll never go back….
