Mothers day buffet was 27 per and ABSOLUTELY horrible.
Choice was limited, food in bad shape, bad service.
140 dollars spent for a combination Mothers Day/Birthday and saved for weeks to pay for special occasion.
Could have spent 50 at big boy and been more satisfied.
Not sure what happened, last year was great and have gone there many times for special occasions.
Wont go back and rescind all references to friends.
What a shame to use a special holiday to boost prices and serve bad food.

I been in the restaurant business for thirty years and NEVER been to one that we had to wait twenty minutes to get a drink, ( by the way, there was two tables in the back room) and had to ask. Had to ask for a menu and five or six employees were walking right around us. My husband and I ordered the sliders with carmelized onions. They were not on our burgers, waitress took our plates brought them back with cold onions and food, had to ask for napkins. Saddest place I have ever been to. NEVER again!!!

2 areas to choose from, casual family dining area, or fine dining with a fireplace. Both style menus available in the family area and the portions are abundant, but quality not compromised. A standout in the area since 1919.
If you have a few extra moments, definitely take the time to go through the halls toward the back door and throughout the hallways heading out to the back door is a photographic trip back in time to the way it was at the turn of the 19th century. I wished I had more time to be able to take more of it in.
The place is rich in tradition and history of the logging area that it used to be like.
A place not to be missed for a variety of reasons.

We stop by the Sugar Bowl every year on our annual golf trip to the area. We are from South Carolina and love everything about the restaurant but our fav has got to be the raspberry pie. GREAT place, been goin' there for decades.

This is by far the best place in Gaylord to get a good meal.
