The pub has been totally remodeled and has a rustic relaxed atmosphere. Food is wonderful! Outstanding burgeres and fresh fish (caught locally) delivered daily. Full bar and friendly staff along with scenic views of the river make this a very welcoming family friendly place to eat or enjoy adult beverages. | 11 to close 7 daus per week

Hirsch's Lighthouse Pub now the Halfway Bar & Grill has apparently changed ownership and has gone from a great place to have lunch and dinner to the pits! We stopped there today for their famous Pub Burger
and were informed they were out of hamburger! Really, the main item on the menu, on a weekend when
a lot of folks are out riding bikes and side by sides, and they are out of hamburger.
Anyway, we had to settle for the French Dip with the hand cut fries. It took just a few minutes short of an hour before out food came out. The waitress forgot to bring out the fires, we had to ask where they were, had to ask for ketchup. Fries finally came out but apparently had been sitting in the kitchen and were nearly cold. The French Dip was horrible. Dry tasteless pre-packaged beef. Garbage.

Decided to stop here on the way through the UP and was very happy I did! Great food, great service! I'd highly recommend this place to anyone!

My husband and I stopped at this place on our Motorcycle ride around Lake Michigan - we are glad we found it. Off the beaten path, not fancy, but very nice, and friendly staff and the burgers were great!! The Frips were good too. I even got a tee shirt for $10 to remind us of the place. I would not hesitate to return!! We'll surely be back next year on our travels around the Lake.

No Star rating here. Poorest customer service EVER! Waited forever for service to begin with. Then after a half hour or so waiting for a simple pizza we ran out of drinks AND drank all our water we finally decided to take matters into our own hands and go up to the bar and get our own drinks. Walked right up beside the two women the waiter was exchanging emails with and discussing other personal subjects and stood for over 2 minutes with my empty and finally just sat back down. Ordered water when the waitress finally came back to our table so we wouldn't have to spend anymore money to this establishment. The pizza tasted like garbage. I did call to tell the owner of our experience and he said "come on back in and let us make it up to you". Thanks but no thanks.

What a gem of a restaurant! The food is great and the staff is so friendly. This is a happy place and a great stop!

New owners are the Nelson's from Green Bay. Entire place have been cleaned, gutted and renovated. It looks fantastic!~ Awesome staff, great food. Warm inviting atmosphere.
