This joint is always buzzing, so grab a tall beer and settle in for a bit-trust me, the wings and BBQ are worth every second of the wait! With a killer selection of sauces, friendly service, and a vibe that screams good times, I've found my new favorite hangout in Jackson, and I can't wait to go back for round two!

Prepare for a wait as the restaurant tends to be busy, but consider ordering a tall beer to enjoy while waiting for your food to arrive. The wings and BBQ are definitely worth the wait, with a variety of sauces to choose from and friendly service to enhance your dining experience.

Our first time at Rocky top! the food was fantastic! service was great. the only thing was she took long awhile getting our credit cards back to us.

Delicious food at a popular bar/restaurant. Specializing in BBQ, try their lasagna. There were 4 of us and all had excellent dinners. The prices are very reasonable too. the parking lot's kinda small but it's well worth parking across the street if forced to.

We were regulars at the Rocky Top but not anymore. They have awesome food but the service there is horrible. Are waitress didn't know anything and we were there an hour and are appetizer was still not brought to the table. One of the hostess came to are table and asked us for are bread plates which we didn't even get are muffins after an hour. Also the wings that are 50 cents on Thursday well you can't order them to go for that price . You have to pay full price. We ended up walking out. We will never go there again. I will tell people how bad the service is there. It's to bad because the wings are good. The owner needs to deal with this because bad reviews are the best.

We've always had a good experience at Rocky Tops. The corn muffins are amazing! The food and service are great and the prices are good. The only complaint I could ever have is that most everything is deep-fried or covered in sauce. It's hard to find a low-calorie option there. But everything is so good, it's worth an occasional dietary splurge!

Up until recently Rocky Top was one of my favorite restaurants in Jackson. They used to have a very delicious decently priced stead on the menu. It was parmesan encrusted and I loved it. Now they have a steak that sells for either $15 or $16 which is ridiculous for a bar. My daughter loves their ham and cheese sandwich, but they only sell it at lunch time. Why???? Plus this summer they didn't bring back the chicken shish kabobs which were also very good.

The real downfall was the Hostessing. I have always had complaints about the way the Hostess seats people, but the final straw was a couple weeks ago when we went there and we had 3 of us. The only people before us was a couple. We were each told it would be 40 minutes and there were at least 4 open tables. When asked why, she proceeded to tell us that they have several large tables and the waitresses are too busy so they are seating on those empty tables. We left, so did the people behind us. Not going back.
