This is a hidden gem. The decor, ambiance, aromas, service and food is out of this world. I’ve dined at North Peak, The Franklin, Poppycocks, Amical, bubbas, EveryWHERE downtown, this place blows them all out of the water. Our server Kimberly gave us a brief description of the menu and how the owner has so much passion for his job. You know you’ve found the right place when employees are happy to work for a good company.
The ribs. That bark. Oh my!
The Brussels, delicious. My only issue with the Brussels was that there was an onion as long as a spaghetti strand. My husband is a somewhat picky eater. You know, no onions no mushrooms- stuff like that. Kimberly explained that all the Ingredients that make the dish complement one another. She advised not to remove anything unless it was allergy prone. Bhahahah. I wish I told him that along time ago. He had the truffle burger and had mushrooms 😂
With that, I bid you goodnight and dine at smoke and porter.
Oh yeah, it is a touch pricy, but I’d pay that bill once a week to have that meal.
