Really nice atmosphere, cool little place, great food, good drinks. Unfortunately most of the bar tenders have that “too-cool-for-you” attitude you’d expect to find in resort towns or Chicago. Holland is neither a resort town nor Chicago (and who wants to go to Chicago anymore??). Real people live and work here. Luke’s restaurants (Public, Poquito, 76) all have this culture/attitude like they’re a 5 star in some big city. Know your audience. This is West Michigan. Lose the freakin’ attitude and you’ll have something.

We’ve eaten in many good restaurants here in Holland and throughout the state. We were really excited to hear of a Spanish restaurant coming to town. When we finally got there were we ever disappointed.
The music was too loud for conversation, we were told it was only that song, not true. The food wasn’t particularly good or bad, just OK.
Waitress service was blah 😒 (karrie). We did notice the table nearby had a very friendly and personable waitress. The young man who was the runner was very nice and very helpful.
We passed on dessert. This is not a place we’d come back to and predict a slow demise.

Way too loud for Pleasant conversation. 1 spoke with waitress she said it was just that song. No attention paid to my comment other than that . Paella which was said to serve two to four persons. Likely only two people with a light appetite would have been able to be filled up by this real. Over price small portions lackluster service. Will not return!
