If you want “home-cooking” this is your “go-to” place. I ordered their fried chicken dinner and it was like I went to grandmas!!!!

We have been going here for a little over a year. It is one of the best restaurants for home cooked meals. They have great portions, and very reasonable. The fish fries and chicken dinners are second to none.. I would recommend this restaurant. The staff are so pleasant---try them out-you wont regret it

The first couple times we went the waitress almost seemed angry at us for eating there but the food was so good we decided to go back. Not once since have we encountered anything but friendly and happy to help staff. Hands down the broasted chicken is the best I've had maybe ever, and the number of homemade desserts is sure to cure whatever sweet tooth you have. If you like homemade home cooking then this is your place. If you like broasted chicken, this is your place. If you like amazing desserts, this is your place. The end.

We love the great "Home cooked" meals at Brenda's, and the wonderful staff as well. The food is excellent and plenty. You can always tell if a place has great food because word of mouth has license plates from Ohio here as well as the local's. People are sometimes waiting in line for a table. Brenda and her husband are there most of the time, she does a lot of cooking too. Try it once and I bet you'll be back many times! Brenda, if you read this, you should knock out the walls and expand or maybe add a patio if you can.

Love to go to Brendas. Love the food, except the rhubarb pie. It is the worst I have ever had and it looked and tasted like weeds. No sweetness to it at all. May I suggest the following recipe:
Mix:
4 cups of 1 inch slices of rhubarb
1 2/3 cups sugar
1/3 cup flour
dash salt
dot with 2 tbsp. butter when u put filling in crust
bake 400 degrees for 50 minutes
