I enjoyed my meal at Los Aztecas, ordering 2 chicken and 1 ground beef enchiladas for $7.99, along with a spicy Bloody Mary for $9.99. Although my roommate found their 2 beef and refried beans burritos to be unappetizing, I trusted our waiter's recommendation and found the other menu options to be delicious.

Ok, Mt. Pleasant has several mexican cuisine restaurants...all very yummy indeed. WHat I LOVE about Los Aztecs is they meet your expectations and ideas for what a great mexican restaurant should look, feel, and taste like. The servers are all very kind and quick to take care of you. The ever popular chips and salsa before your meal is lovely. I fancy a margarita from time to time and haven't had a bad one yet;)
Now, I've had a couple of items from their menu but the one I go back to over and over is the Burrito De La Playa. It's AMAZING! I have never ordered anything seafood at a mexican restaurant before. The shrimp and sauce sounded good to try one afternoon and my life has never been the same since;) It's almost too good. You're doing yourself a disservice by not trying this dish. It's VERY filling but I'll say, the first bite is just as delicious as the last bite you take. Order it! You won't regret it.
