I visited around lunchtime on a weekday and enjoyed a huge El Jefe sandwich alongside a three-meat platter featuring chopped brisket, ribs, and sausage, with flavorful sides like brisket beans and collard greens-all for under $50. The brisket and smoked sausage stood out with great smoke rings and crispy edges, the service was friendly and fast, and the peach cobbler is a dessert you definitely don't want to miss.

Visited on a weekday afternoon and found the lunch crowd to be manageable. The El Jefe sandwich was massive, only managed to eat a quarter of it, and the 3 meat platter with brisket, ribs, and sausage was a good deal under $50. Overall, a solid spot for BBQ, especially enjoyed the peach cobbler and sweet tea. Service was fast and efficient, making it a convenient choice inside the H-E-B grocery store.
