I just visited Willmer on business in July and had the luck to eat at this great little restaurant. I had the Chicken De L'Amore which is made with roasted eggplant and olives, and every bite was just amazing! My business partner and I were in town for only two nights and we liked it so much we went back the next night and I had the same meal again, something I have never done before. I thought the food was fantastic!

A group of 8 of us visited your restaurant today for lunch, 1-21-13 and were very disappointed with the service and the quality of the food. Service was extremely slow; there was one waitress and one cook (there were approximately 15-20 people there, including us); it took her 10minutes to come and take our drink order, then 20 minutes to get drinks (2 people got a few ice cubes-the others had none), Thirty min after that we got our food, which was less than lukewarm, except for the pita bread with hummus. The cheese on BBQ Memphis sandwiches (3 of them) was not melted and meat at edge of sandwich was cold. The fries, gyros, and steamed vegetables were also less than lukewarm. We did not send food back because we were on a time restrictive schedule. When the checks finally came, two of us combined our bills to pay with a $20 bill (our bills were $9.66 each) and then we left to get to our appointment. The waitress then told the rest of our group that we didn't pay enough. They had to explain to her why it was enough money. It is doubtful that 7 out of 8 of us will ever return to your restaurant.

Searching to revive your taste buds? Cafe Persepolis will change the way you view food. It will no longer be about gut filler, but truly about ingredients and spices. The talent of these chefs is extraordinary as their use of spices and premium ingredients sets them far apart from the other area restaurants. The atmosphere is borderline fancy but casual and staff is knowledgeable and friendly yet do not hover over you during your meal. Overall, this restaurant bar none is Willmar's diamond in the rough.

I was at one of their buffets and the food was great! There was a mix-up with our reservation but that got straightened out. The owner did not seem too inviting at first. I think the stress level of getting the buffet up and running was getting to him because as things started to wind down he was very friendly. Visiting tables, talking about the food, handing out dessert. Overall a very good time - and did I mention the food was great!
