While camping at Smitty's, my friends and I decided to practice our golf swings at the nearby driving range in preparation for an upcoming tournament. After a few buckets of balls, we headed inside for some drinks and were greeted by the friendly bartender, Beth, who made us feel right at home. Beth not only shared some great recommendations for things to do in Lake City, but she also made our visit memorable with her warm hospitality. We took her advice and camped at Hok-Si-La the following weekend, followed by a round of golf at Lake City Golf Club, where the well-maintained course and friendly staff made for an enjoyable experience.
