We love Catfish Kettle, however, the hours on this site are not correct! We drove 40 miles to get there for our anniversary dinner only to pull in to a dark building and an empty parking lot. We were not the only ones coming there to eat as other drove around the parking lot and left as well when they found out they were closed too. We enjoyed a wonderful meal at Coltons.

Four of us went to Catfish Kettle last night. All you can eat is the way to go at this restaurant. We try to meet friends several times a month. Last night there was a Birthday for one of the waitresses... great happy atmosphere and you can tell that everyone works in great harmony - except for the old sour puss man who seemed not to be happy and my friend said he was the Owner. He better get happier if he wants people to return.

Too bad they don't take American Express. When in town I always take clients out to eat and would love to go back to Catfish Kettle but was shocked when they wouldn't take my AMEX. Applebee's or Colton's here I come.

Had not been to Farmington & CatFish Kettle for over 6 months. Went today for late lunch and was NOT disapointed. Never have been. Truly the best & freshest tasting fish in 200 miles. GO CatFish Kettle. Sure was glad that grumpy owner was not there this time. I don't think he is well as he neve used to be grumpy! But all the gals who work there make up for one ole gump.
Will go back next month when I go to Farmington again, EAT FRESH CATFISH - GO TO THE KETTLE.

Going to Catfish Kettle (Farmington MO) tonight just heard that TODAY the wonderful Manager, Joyce Lix, celebrates her 25th year Anniversary at Catfish Kettle. We live in Ironton BUT get there regularly because their Catfish is fresh, never frozen, and EVERYTHING is cooked fresh. Just wish they would bring back that wonderful creamy cheesecake with carmel/nut topping... not the bigger slices that choke you to death. GOING TO GO TO WISH JOYCE A HAPPY 25TH ANNIVERSARY.

Last Friday night stopped in again at the Catfish Kettle in Farmington MO. Wondered what was going on and where was the Manager that has waited on me and my family for years and years. I drove 45 miles and NO JOYCE to wait on me. Whoever that was that seated our party of 4 was NOT friendly and no smiles from anyone. Thankfully I found out that Joyce was on vacation BECAUSE frankly if not for her I would never bother to go back. Lady named Sanny seated us and she was looking mad and not friendly...
We will go back soon to see Joyce because she is what makes the Cat Fish Kettle as she is always dependable and greets you with a happy smile and is one of the most efficient in all the various resturants we eat at frequently.

Fantastic Catfish!!! It is firm never 'mushy' like so much fish we get that has been frozen! I do wish they served the whole catfish filets. Also wish they would serve the whole catfish with bone spine -- now that is really eating & the bone spine makes even juicier/sweeter eating.
Love the hushpuppies too & honey butter! We always ask for the Manager (Joyce) to wait on us if she is available -- Over 10 years she has been waiting on us & SHE IS WHAT MAKES CATFISH KETTLE a fun place to go. Farmington's best night out yet!

This Southern Style ALL YOU CAN EAT CAT FISH RESTAURANT & chicken & shrimp too is EXCELLENT.
I am a traveling Salesman & this is a stop off (even out of the way) whenever I am within 100 miles of the Catfish Kettle Restaurant in Farmington MO. The Manager of some 20 years, JOYCE LIX, remembers my name & I always ask for her table. Although she only waits tables when really busy she runs this place in a tip top manner and the courtesy with which she manages is just not seen in most restaurants today where they don't remember anyone's name OR THERE IS SOMEONE NEW MANAGING EVERY TIME YOU STOP IN.
Food is top notch.
Managment is Excellent.
Smiles are abundant.
Couldn't ask for anything more!!!

Last night we experienced a wonderful dinning experience at Catfish Kettle, Farmington MO.
Thanks to the Manager, Joyce, a slight misunderstanding was immediately corrected. WHAT SERVICE. The most NON GREASY fried catfish I have ever eaten. I asked and was told the 100% peanut oil is changed so frequently.
Our group of 4 had a great evening.

I have had pleasure of eating at the Catfish Kettle "all you can eat" several time. They have the freshest Catfish I have ever had anywhere & when I asked I was told "NEVER FROZEN"!!! Their Catfish is not heavily breaded but has an old fashioned crisp cornmeal coating... breast of chicken & shrimp equally good. Their hushpuppies & baked beans are also excellent. I always ask for Waitress/Manager Joyce Lix to serve us.
GO & ENJOY THE BEST CATFISH YOU'LL EVER EAT.
