We were visiting from out of town and stopped in for lunch, with our grand daughter and her husband who lives nearby, 4 adults and a child. It was a most terrible experience. We had three chicken dinners (The Special), one chicken sandwich, three small dinner salads, soft drinks and 3 pies. The food was not good, one of the pies was not eatable. Kentucky fried chicken is much better at a third the price. The place was old, nasty and run down. The worst thing was when we went to pay the check we were shocked at the $78.00 outrageous ticket. $7.00 each additional for a small (terrible) 4 inch bowl salad. Should have been included in the meal. $2.50 each for pies that were terrible. After complaining to the owner she finally took ten dollars off the check. We have told several people in the area and have a large family that will also spread the news. We give this place our worst rating.

Went in with my family and the entire place looked drury and smelled like smoke;
The waitress acted like she didn't like her job and that she didn't want to be there. The sweet tea was not sweet and it tasted as though it had soured so I told our waitress I need to send our tea's back and explained it seemed to have soured.
The waitress rolled her eyes at me and went to the window to get someone else their food.
A little while later after she took the other table the food and took another tables order she finally came back to take the tea's away. We continued to sat there waiting for either fresh tea's or the waitress to come take a different drink order for 20 minutes. No drinks and she still hadn't come back to take our food order yet.
We waited for a while longer and I finally got her attention to see what was going on with our drinks and she told me she forgot, So I just told her if tea wasn't available to just bring coke or pepsi all around. Another 20 minutes passed still no drinks and she still had not come to take our food order and there was only 4 tables with customers including ours. She finally came over and said the tea is unavailable would we want something else.. I told her again Coke or Pepsi which ever they had would be fine. A little bit later the soda's came and I told her we were ready to order she then said ok one second and left our table. By this time we had been waiting roughly an hour just for drinks. We finished our drinks waiting on her to come to take our order and still a no show. So we all just got up and began to leave when she was notified we were about to go by another waitress. She then came out and told us she forgot there was another table here again. I told her thats fine we were just going to go somewhere else. I then told her that there was no way she forgot about us not once not twice but three times especially since she was hanging out in the little serving area and the kitchen in our full view as she went back and forth and us in hers. I then told her that we would not be back. I DO NOT recommend this restaurant to NO ONE.

Had an omelet for breakfast that was way overcooked (brown) and tasted like fish. Also the grits were to runny (grit soup). This was the third time I've ordered breakfast there and, as the previous two times the breakfast came cold, will eat breakfast elsewhere. Three strikes and you're out!!!
