Worst dining experience I have had in years. Steak was nasty and over cooked. Waitress said "what do you want me to do?" I said I would like a properly cooked steak as I ordered" She came and picked up my steak and took it to the kitchen. A few minutes later the cook came out and told me I was wrong, and gave me the same steak. We have eaten there several times and this was the last time.

I love this place. I am working in the area and have eaten there several times and have not been disappointed on any visit. The staff is freindly. The atmosphere is very comfortable.I reccomend Daddy Jim's to anyone looking for some good homestyle cooking.

probably not the best place I've been in but certainly should not be getting all the negative hits. however, I did not have the steaks and bad steaks can leave one with a nasty taste in your mouth...

I am really surprised all the negative comments. I love steak houses and the steak was not bad, not bad at all. Like DAS said its equivalent to Ryans Buffet in Joplin, Mo. But the catfish is fantastic! I've had my fair share of crab legs from the coast and these are not top notch crab legs by any means. But Ill tell you what they beat the heck out of any other local restaurant!
The service is pretty slow. But next time I will have to flag down the waitress right before I finish my plate so I don't have to wait 5-10 min for another order.
I will be returning to Daddy Jim's. I would recommend people to make their own judgment. I am still really surprised all the Negs.

Great catfish! That is what they are known for, not steak. Service can be alittle slow if they are busy.

This place is awesome! all you can eat! If you love chinese buffets then you will love this place! only down side is its about 25 dollars a person but I would say its well worth it once or twice a year! About 8-10 of us drive 80 miles just to eat at this place. The food is above average, but the quanity makes up for the lack in quality!
This restaurant reminds me of a much better ryans....now that food is poor quality!
I do partially agree with the reviews below the food is good but not great but what do you expect its all you can eat.... your getting a good deal and a huge variety. Fish, crab, chicken, beef, veggies... I really like this place.

Everything on my plate that I ordered was way overcooked and tasted terrible! And I would like to know how you can ruin corn, but this place sure did. Service was terrible also. I never did get a refill on my drink, so guess what I didn't leave a tip. If a waiter/waitress can't even do that, then I'm sorry, no tip is deserved. When I rec'd my bill I couldn't believe how overpriced it was for the sh-tty food. This has to be the worst restaurant I have every been too!!!!!!!!!!!

The stars say it all! Worst service I have had in a long time. I ordered a med rare prime rib (I asked the waitress before hand how it was) and got this gray thing that was obviously warmed up from ,in my thinking, a week ago. My grand daughter got a rib eye medium rare and got a well done piece of goat meat. .The waitress came back after we ordered to tell us that they were out of 8 oz ribeyes and that SHE substituted 12 oz. And had the nerve to charge us for 12's Absolutely the worst restaurant I have been to in MANY years and I will NOT return under any circumstance! Every employee seemed to think they were doing the customers a favor by being there.
