First time in years that I went in while we were on vacation with my family and we ordered the special on the wall special for the day and we get and it was TV dinner quality it was chicken fried steak spot of gravy and ran out mash potatoes and which it tasted like grits and ran out of vegthey were only open for 4 hours for lunch you would think it would be fresh and homemade sorry

Drive on down the road. This has been a small town Licking favorite for 20 years. It’s been under new management the last 2. No longer serves homemade pie, homemade food that built their reputation & 1-2 plate lunches. Don’t let the parking lot fool you. There can be 20 cars in the parking lot but they will be farmers drinking coffee. Sometimes eating. Don’t worry. They talk loud, love Trump but are super nice. Picture of main dining room, and todays lunch special. They primarily serve burgers. No breakfast even if it’s 11:01am. I’d understand that if the they had a big lunch crowd. My mom & I are the only out of towners. My kids were raised on the old PJ’s. My mama specifically asked to eat at P.J.s. You are better off over at the Sonic. If you are wondering how middle America feels like about politics. Just listen. Much is true. Some is funny. Someone did come by and offer us a piece of cake.
