Morning,
I was traveling with my boyfriend through Seneca, Missouri Friday September 1st 2023 we stopped at Sonic for lunch. We ordered 2 peppercorn ranch burger and tots special for $3.99 each. When they gave me a total of $10 and some change I pushed the button again and said I think the total is wrong it should be $8 and some change. They told me no one rang at $4.23, I told them that is wrong it should be $3.99. They got off the intercom and when they brought the food out she again told me it was $10 and some change, I again told her no that total is wrong. She again told me one rang and $4.23 that is with tax. I told her if $4.23 is with tax multiple that by 2 and that told is $8.46 NOT $10 and some change. She looked at me like I was talking in Spanish. I then told her if you are telling me $4.23 is with tax BEFORE tax you are taxing me twice, she again looked at me like I was talking in Spanish. I said never mind and paid her the $10 and change just to get the food and get back on the road. I am contacting you so you can be aware that there is a ERROR in the system so you can get that fixed so no one else has to deal with this issue again.
