I was not impressed with the quality food. The quality of food was average to put it nicely. I came to St. Joseph on a business trip and was starving for a nice place to eat . I chose to dine at this restaurant because I had read excellent reviews. However, I was so thoroughly disappointed in my food I left after consuming a quarter of my plate. I paid my bill and left. I will never recommend this restaurant to my colleagues when they come to St. Joesph for business. I was very disappointed to say the least.

I don't know where the other reviewer was eating, but this restaurant had some of the best steak that I have ever eaten, and I know steak.
I've had dry aged steak at some of the best restaurants in the Midwest, I've had amazing steak in Paris, in Texas, and especially growing up on my parents farm where we raised all-natural corn and grass-fed beef.
This restaurant's Teres Major was amazing. Me and my husband still talk about how it is on our top three of "best steaks we've ever eaten". It was moist and tender, with so much flavor in every bite. The herbed goat cheese butter on top melted into the steak, smothering it in goodness. The salad was delicious, the drinks were great, and the appetizer was wonderful (we had the duck dumplings)
If we didn't live so far away, this restaurant would be patronized by us as often as possible.
