Food was unexpectedly delicious and made up for the service. I was a bit perplexed by the server as she was very slow and not in tune with serving on time. For example, bringing bread too late, leaving the wine on the table and forgetting to fill up the glasses and taking longer than necessary to complete the sales transaction. Despite this, the food made up for it all and I will definitely be back.

I love supporting locally owned places so this was a perfect fit! Heard of Gusto Italiano while shopping at Cornucopia and so glad I did! My first trip in was about 20 minutes before closing time however, with the pace at which our wine, appetizers and meal were served, I unequivocally did not feel rushed. I did call ahead of time to confirm that we wouldn’t be rude showing up that close to their last seating. The lady who answered was very nice and welcoming. We weren’t super hungry so chose to share the cauliflower (which was outstanding), asparagus wrapped in bacon and penne paired with the sampler of 3 wines. All were excellent and we even took some home with us. My most recent visit we enjoyed the spaghetti (amazing), risotto and the cauliflower again, as a to-go order, and was just as pleased with our choices!! The atmosphere was inviting and aesthetically pleasing, the staff was welcoming and intuitive, the food was impeccable and perfectly timed. No doubt we will return. Next trip I will definitely try a dessert!
