This was the ultimate Cheers atmosphere that I ever experienced. My dad Barry managed and tended bar for Doc the owner and very close family friend. We rented a spot right next door and it was a walk to say bye to my dad as he went in for work every day. He would take his walkie talkie and I was always close by him. All the regulars accepted me and my best friend Eddie and one day we brought a stray dog into the restaurant and dad said Bobby, you guys need to take the dog outside. Doc said Barry the dog can stay, get the kids outta here. I still laugh to this day and my nickname around that bar top/restaurant was Dillinger and I felt loved and I missed that atmosphere for many years, and I'm grateful that now living in Arizona for 15 years now that the same feeling of Love is back in my life. Forever in my heart to everyone that remembers J's on D
Love you Doc
