Grand China has been my "go to" Chinese restaurant for years. The staff is very friendly and helpful; the food is always delicious and portions are ample. They will make it "hot" if that is your preference (Szechuan style) which I love. The food is always steaming hot when it arrives and I've never gotten a bad fortune cookie! I highly recommend this dining establishment.
03/17/2016 - Best Chinese Food Around
Absolutely the best Chinese Restaurant in the entire area (whether it's Riverbank, Modesto, etc.) & I'm not saying that because my family & I live live 6 - 7 blocks from there. Their food is to die for. Delicious, ample portions (whether it's for lunch or dinner). Prices are just right. This has the best family atmosphere, friendly wait staff, etc. Food is brought to the table within just a few minutes after ordering it, always piping hot We've referred this to friends of ours who live in Ripon who really love Chinese Food as well as friends of mine that live in Livermore. They said they'd definitely be back. The friends in Livermore, like my husband, are very fully when it comes to Chinese food. He said he'd definitely be back as it's worth the drive from where they live to have a good Chinese meal.
