The fried chicken was perfectly cooked, crispy without being greasy, and paired wonderfully with the best greens I've ever tasted and flawless rice and gravy. The service was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the entire meal satisfying and memorable, truly capturing the essence of authentic Southern soul food.

The fried chicken, rice and gravy, and greens at Davis Cafe were excellent, earning a solid 10/10 rating from me. Despite the intimidating exterior, the superb food and service inside truly stood out during my visit on 2/17/2023.
