First clue that this place would be awful was that it was empty one hour before a play-off game at the Bell Centre. Every other place in the neighbourhood was hopping.
The food was terrible, greasy, tasteless. But worse than that was that the waiter spilt a glass of red wine all over my white jersey (the others at my table with darker shirts escaped relatively unscathed) and was completely unapologetic about it. I spent 15 minutes in the washroom trying to wash it out. Even still, the shirt was stained.The restaurant did not offer to pay the drycleaning bill or pay for my meal. Also, the waiter who spilled the wine seemed to think that the episode was funny. Do you think it was because I was wearing an Ottawa Senators jersey?? I wonder?? Others were harrassed that night as well....
