There's this awesome sushi spot a bit of a drive outside of downtown Montreal that's run by a Japanese family - it's the real deal, not your typical trendy fusion spot. The sushi menu has a nice variety, with seasonal specials that are always changing, like their locally sourced sea urchin that's a must-try. The place is cozy, the staff is friendly, and the takeout is quick and well-packed - definitely worth a visit for some authentic and delicious Japanese food on the South Shore.
