Great meal after a long night drive from New York. It was definitely worth it.

Dead Cockroaches Are NOT Fast Food
Back in August 2012 I ate at La Maison VIP with a lady friend and really enjoyed their #7 Pineapple Chicken, a huge plate piled high with sliced battered chicken and big pieces of orange-coloured pineapple.
Today (December 7, 2013), I went back to have a pre-Christmas dinner with my lady friend and her boyfriend. When the pot of tea arrived, she poured for all of us and I spotted a 1-inch (2.54 cm.) long DEAD cockroach floating in my cup. While we sat there in shock, the waiter came up to take our orders, and when we showed him the dead cockroach, he tried making a joke but it went over like a lead balloon. My immediate thought was that this was far from the first time that a diner had found a cockroach in their food or seen one scuttling around the restaurant.
At that point we got up and walked out, swearing to never return. Furthermore, I have contacting the City of Montreal to file a complaint so that they can send an inspector.

Best chinese food in the city of Montreal! Always hot and fresh.
Casual attire, not a fancy place, not the cleanest, but the food is tasty and dreamt about. Cantonese chow mein and ginger lobster are the best ever. Never ordered a dish that was not delish and all dishes have a unique taste. Amazing food - been going there for 15 years.
