We enjoyed a spontaneous dinner on a crisp autumn Friday evening, easily walking into the cozy establishment without a reservation. The friendly host welcomed us to a spot that has stood in the neighborhood for over three decades. Our appetites were quickly satisfied with piping hot sweet potato fries, flaky and delicious, served fresh from the nearby kitchen. The meal was decent, though some dishes felt a tad pricier than expected, but the overall value for food and service was rated favorably.
