This has been a favorite restaurant of mine for quite some time. Their pasta and bread are delicious!! However, on my most recent visit, the customer service was the worst I have ever seen at any restaurant. The kitchen made an error on our order and then chaos ensued. First the kitchen was heard yelling at our waitress about how he made it right and to go back and double check. Then, a new dish was brought out to the table and we were informed that since we had eaten out of both, that they were going to be charging us for both meals. I promptly returned the new, correct dish to the manager and told him that I would not be eating if they were going to charge me for their mistake. I have never seen customer service like this. Typically, when an error is made on a customer's food, the restaurant is apologetic and willing to fix the mistake at no charge to the customer. Many times, the entire meal is on the house, as a way to make up for the inconvenience. What must have been going through their heads to make them think it is okay to charge a customer for the kitchen's mistake? I didn't want a free meal. I just wanted my food to be right and they had the nerve to tell me that I would have to pay for their mistake. So, instead of them losing $10 off of their mistake, they ruined our experience at this restaurant and our group will not be back. So, basically they saved $10 to lose a lot more. The rest of my group easily spent another $70 and now the rest of them will not be returning either. The staff at this restaurant need some serious customer service training!!!
