My family and I have been eating at the "sister" restaurant - same owner, Gaoege Sarris - in Birmingham, AL for about 35 years. This is a class act, from the food to the staff. Thank you George!

place is O.K. looking but when got in the service and management were terrible, you order one type of fish and get something that's not what you order and also when tried to say something the management acted as if the fish what i order and it wasn't. also don't believe the people actually know how to cook fish, was under-cooked and tasted like it had freezer burn

We are from Florida and were heading to gatlinburg tn. We stopped to have lunch me and my wife ordered grilled snapper. When the food came out all our veggies were room temp but worst the snapper was tilapia. We told our server about it and she said that is what they serve instead of snapper. We both were very upset and just paid and left,we do not like tilapia we ordered snapper.

I eat at the Fish Market in Gadsden, Alabama at
least twice weekly.
The GREEK Food is EXCELANT and FANTASTIC and has a good flavor to it.
The Staff are friendly and eager to serve me.
Many times I get TAKE OUT ORDERS, & they are prompt in fixing the meals which are done CORRECTLY.
Kosta, Mike, Niko Gerontakis,"Owners and Charlie, PERSONALLY greet me & my WIFE smiling," and know us on a first name basis, which makes us feel good and very SPECIAL.
Their oyster bar is very FRESH. They have fresh fish flown in daily & a display case that we buy to prepare fish at home.
I also buy their delicious HOMEMADE DESSERTs. YUMMY. After tasting one slice, I have bought
the whole pie.
I also purchase their John's special salad dressing, sea salt, olive oil, and many other items.
My favorite foods for me and My wife that we have ordered and enjoyed over the past 3 years are these dishes:
We enjoy their GREEK KABOBS, Baked Greek Chicken, Salmon, Tuna, Greek Salad,
Meatballs, Club Sandwiches, Greek Pork Chops, Steak, hamburger sandwiches, Alaskan Crab Legs, of course, every week we try something new. my favorites are
their
Fresh SNAPPER, NEW ZEALAND ORANGE ROUGHY, SEAFOOD PLATTER, OYSTERS, PASTA, their APPETIZERS,
ALASKAN CRAB LEGS, SWORDFISH, SCALLOPS, SHRIMP, CATFISH, GROUPER, Calamari, crab claws,
Speciality Sandwiches,
George Sarris Specialties, buffalo chicken wings, and much more.
You can tell that OUR FAMILY are
repeat customers
and have ordered many of their dishes on their
menu and we know these dishes by heart!!!!!
In my opinion, it is the BEST PLACE TO EAT in town.
Gadsden, Alabama.

The service was lousy and the food was worse. The only redeeming factor was the friends we were with were fantastic.

Great selection of seafood. Best seafood dining for the money anywhere in Northeast Alabama.
