Make sure to check the current operating hours by giving them a quick call before planning your visit, as we experienced arriving at 2pm on a Friday afternoon in late September 2021 only to find them closed. Despite initial hesitation due to the lack of other patrons, we were pleasantly surprised by the friendly service and delicious, fresh food at the inn and restaurant located about 50 miles north of Denali National Park on Parks Highway. My husband enjoyed a Reuben sandwich that reminded him of his mom's potato salad, and I savored a crispy corned beef hash with eggs and toast - both reasonably priced and satisfying options.
