I have been to the 1893 Steakhouse many times, both alone and with family or friends, and have always loved the food (huge portions, perfectly cooked and nicely served). I have enjoyed everything I have ever ordered there and the prices quite moderate. I find the original paintings delightful, and the ones on the ceiling amazing, I picture the artist doing a "Michelangelo" but am told they were painted first and then put up! The restaurant is on the small side but is warm & cozy with a friendly ambience. It is so nice to have this clean, classy eating place in little Heber.

What a disappointment. Nothing like their website promised. Food was cold and meat was tough. Service was negligible and the decor was weird. Large pictures hung on the ceiling, with fans, light fixtures, etc placed right over the pictures.
