04/13/2009 - Disappointed
I went to Fraizier's after church on Easter Sunday. Fraizier's has always been a favorite restaurant of mine and I couldn't believe my luck that the parking lot was fairly empty. My son and I were seated immediately. To receive immediate seating at 12:30 on an Easter Sunday afternoon didn't raise an alarm yet. The alarm should have been, "Where are the customers".
I found out later why Fraizier's was not busy. My stuffed flounder was dry, tasteless and overcooked. My son's order was totally messed up and the breaded mushroom appetizer was more appealing on the menu than when presented as 6 strips of breaded something on a bare plate.
The mushroom appetizer felt cool to the touch until I bit into it. It was so hot "inside" that I had to spit it out . . . it ended up falling in the middle of my salad and I ended up with a blister on my lower lip.
This is my second disappointment with Fraiziers It used to be a great place to dine. Sorry to see that management has relaxed it's standards in the quality of food and the dress code of it's staff. One of the waitresses (not ours) looked better dressed to solicit johns on the street than to serve food at what used to be a nice restaurant.
I'm done with Fraizers. I've dined there probably 20 times over the last 4 years. I'm not going back..
