The atmosphere here is lively and filled with fascinating military memorabilia, making it an engaging experience. I enjoyed a large portion of the Ginger Soy Salmon, which was absolutely phenomenal, and my server was attentive and friendly throughout our meal. Watching the planes take off while savoring delicious food created a memorable afternoon that I look forward to repeating soon.

Went there the last two weekends the Salmon sandwich was great and the catfish and hush puppies is nice and hot always and well seasoned.

We had brunch there Sunday and the meal was great. I was surprised at a choc peanut butter pie that was excellant. The server was great and everyone treated our group of 6 like family. I will return.

We have eaten here several times. We have really enjoyed it. The minute you pull into the parking lot the authentic atmosphere transports you back in time to WWII (we have visited the WWII sights of Normandy and this restaurant is like being there). The food was good, the staff attentive and the view of Peachtree Dekalb Airport was superb. There is a large lounge which was busy and has a large dance floor with great music. There is also outdoor seating overlooking the airfield. The 57th is an in-town getaway to a memorable evening.

The 57th Fighter Group Restaurant is now open for lunch and dinner. Sunday brunch starts Nov. 8. Stop by the best patio in town and watch airplanes take off and land at DeKalb-Peachtree airport.

I noticed that they are a vendor at Taste of Chamblee this weekend so they must be re-emerging as a restaurant soon. It was a good selection in the area so happy to see it's coming back!

As many of you know the 57th Fighter Group restaurant Closed late December 2006. As a Ga. resident and fan of this restaurant I have made efforts to find the owner and learn whats going on with it. I was told by the person that is handling the restaurant that they are planning to reopen it on or around Labor day. I got this through Epps Aviation which owns the property. For those who enjoyed this restaurant as I did. It will be back. Hang in there Swing music and airplanes is coming back to Atlanta again!

Awesome Atmosphere! One of the best in Southeastern united states. A world war two era italian farm house decorated with vintage WWII decore' with Warm fireplaces throughout the place. The food here was great, but portions for price seemed steep, but I am concidered a big eater anyway. Texture and strength were dead on, but temp was slightly off, Ordered salmon with a honey pecan glaze/flavor was more than desired, perfect plus a little more. Just the temp was not right, the fish steak was warmer toward one end than the other, and with the extra warmth, dryness started to creep-in. But overall it was good. I would put it in my top 25 for atlanta. But the atmosphere was over the top, with the right trained wait staff this place would rock. Not to say the wait was bad, however we did not have that feeling that the wait was glad we were there, but meirly their job to be there. They did everything right, just some certain wait (waiters) know how to make youy feel special and desired.
