Good local southern food with friendly staff that make you feel right at home, and the dishes like ribs, fried chicken, and sides such as mac and cheese and black-eyed peas never disappoint. The line can be long during busy times, but it moves quickly because the food is consistently flavorful and satisfying, perfect for some classic soul cooking in Evans.

I had Turkey. Dressing and Gravy. Blackeye Peas. Mac n Cheese and Sweet Tea, $17 and some change!!!!! Food was seasoned too much. Staff acted like they could care less if I was there or NOT. I WILL never go back, Things sure have changed, I will tell All my friends not to waste time or Money here,

I have ate there many, many times and each time everything was excellent. you get large mortions which makes it that much better. We always need a to go box. I would definitely recommend this place.

There were "Support Our Troops", "God Bless America" all over the diner but not ONE military discount, when I asked the Co-Owner why there was no discount for Service Men/Women she replied, "I'll have to ask my husband".. will NVR eat there again!!!

Portions way too small for the price and they charge extra for cornbread. Portions need to larger and include the bread and drink.

I'm sitting in goolsby,,,,it was totally disgusting,,,,rice and tomato was sweet and I switched to potato salad it was sweet,,,,pork chop no taste,,,,the waitress didn't seem to care thy I trashed my whole $12 plate,,,,I will tell my friends not to waste their time and money,,,,,tuck!#!!!!!!!!
