I had an unforgettable experience back in 1973, where a group of us, all US Army at Ft Meade, found ourselves in a bar brawl against a large group of locals after a stein of beer was thrown at us. The intensity of the fight spilled out onto the sidewalk, with bouncers eventually ushering us out as the cops arrived. I vividly remember the chaos and adrenaline as we stood our ground in the midst of the scuffle, leaving a lasting memory of camaraderie and resilience in the face of adversity.
