The new South side location of El Ranchero is absolutely stunning, with its transformation from a former Pizza Hut into a vibrant space filled with beautiful Central American art adorning every surface. The menu offers a range of delicious Mexican-American dishes, with my personal favorite being the beef soft tacos and tostada. While the service can occasionally be slow, the complimentary fresh chips and overall quality of the food make the experience well worth any wait. I find myself returning to this restaurant at least once a week for its inviting atmosphere and tasty offerings.
