This is my first time at Yankee, It is a hidden Gem in the industrial part of Southie. The outside seating is nice, you have your choice in front of the building or off to the left, and there is ample sunshade although not much of a view. The inside is well air conditioned, and the staff working the counter are pleasant. The line moved quickly, and the the menu is standard Seafood. Average cook time. When the food arrived the Sea Food Combo #2, it was cooked perfectly, enough food to feed two people on an empty stomach. The prices are good, especially considering the prices of Anthony's Pier 4 and the other expensive restaurants right down the street. I recommend going for the food, the views left something to be desired. Great place to go when you have a craving for New England style Seafood and you are stuck in Boston.

I work in the area and was not aware of this restaurant. Years ago I would pick up lobsters in the back of this building but didn't know they had opened a restaurant. It was wonderful but get there before the noon crowd because it is a small restaurant. The seafood was fresh and wonderful. Cole slaw was the best I have had. Also the best calamari and stuffed quahogs. Prices reasonable and quantity is plentiful. Can't wait to go back again this week.
