I find solace in the vibrant array of options at the salad bar, a welcome respite from the mundane fast-food offerings scattered across campus. The customizable nature of the salads, priced at a reasonable 38c per ounce, allows me to indulge in ample protein-rich chicken, followed by a medley of fresh vegetables like carrots, olives, and cucumbers, satisfying my hunger at a fraction of the cost of pre-packaged alternatives. In essence, this nutritious oasis amidst the sea of culinary mediocrity at MIT ensures I never have to settle for subpar meals again.
