Alexanders should be on everyone's must eat list. The menu has a plethora of options for both our omnivorous brethern as well as for the vegetarians that inhabit and visit the Boulder/Denver area. With the recent drop in menu prices this makes this gem of a mexican restaurant a diamond in the rough. The food is excellent, but I must say the building/atmosphere and service are definitely lacking. If you're willing to brave the exterior you will be richly rewarded with the variety of options that are so wonderfully delicious and different from your average mexican cuising. Burritos with bulgar or quinoa and rosemary or basil with tofu and beans smothered in the delicious green and traditional red sauces will delight your tastebuds. If you're coming to boulder and are looking for an excellent cheap meal you would be a fool to bypass Alexander's.
